Ingredients

  • 2cup All Purpose Flour

  • 2tbsp Coco Powder

  • 1cup Sugar

  • 4 Eggs

  • 1cup Oil

  • 1cup Milk

  • 2tsp Baking Powder

  • 1tbsp Vanilla Essence

Directions


  • Mix  All Purpose Flour and Baking Powder together. Keep it aside.
  • Using a mixer/beater, beat  Eggs well.
  • Carefully add Sugar and beat  until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture has a creamy consistency.
  • Into that add Oil and Vanilla Essence.
  • Mix everything well.
  • Carefully add  Flour and Milk simultaneously and mix until its a smooth batter.
  • Divide the Cake batter into 2 equal parts.
  • Into one bowl of Cake batter add Cocoa Powder and using a spatula mix well.
  • Use one tablespoon for each batter to create the layers.
  • Carefully pour plain Cake batter into the middle of the prepared cake tin.
  • Then using another tablespoon pour Chocolate cake batter on to the middle of the plain Cake batter.
  • Repeat this step until all the plain and Chocolate cake batter is finished.
  • Pre-heat  Oven at 350 degree and  bake the cake for about 30-35 min or until a tooth pick inserted in the middle of the Cake comes out clean.
  • Allow Cake to cool down.

  • Serve Zebra Cake with Tea/Coffee.

Notes

  • Prepared Pan means spraying or rubbing Oil all over the Cake tin and lining with wax paper or parchment.
