Ingredients

  • 2cup Basmati Rice, washed and soaked for 30mins

  • 1 stick Cinnamon

  • 3-4 Cloves

  • 4 Cardamom

  • 1 Star Anies

  • 1cup Beans

  • 1/2cup Carrot

  • 1/4cup Frozen Green Peas

  • Salt

  • 4cup Boiling Water

Directions

  • Heat some Oil in pan and add Whole Masala’s ( Cinnamon, Cloves, Cardamom and Star Anise )
  • When Masala’s start to pop add washed and soaked Basmati Rice.
  • Saute until Rice is lightly roasted.
  • Add Beans and Carrots.
  • Mix everything well.
  • Pour boiling Water and Salt.
  • Allow everything to boil and when Water reduce down to the level of Rice, add frozen Green Peas.
  • Cover the pan with a tight lid and turn off the flame.
  • Allow Rice to cook in the steam, after 15-20mins open the lid and fluff-up the Rice using a fork.
  • Serve Vegetable Pulao warm with Paneer Butter Masala or Chilli Chicken or Masala Chicken Curry.
