Ingredients needed to make Vegetable Pulao:
2cup Basmati Rice, washed and soaked for 30mins
1 stick Cinnamon
3-4 Cloves
4 Cardamom
1cup Beans
1/2cup Carrot
1/4cup Frozen Green Peas
Salt
4cup Boiling Water
Method:
Heat some Oil in pan and add Whole Masala’s ( Cinnamon, Cloves, Cardamom and Star Anise )
When Masala’s start to pop add washed and soaked Basmati Rice.
Saute until Rice is lightly roasted.
Add Beans and Carrots.
Mix everything well.
Pour boiling Water and Salt.
Allow everything to boil and when Water reduce down to the level of Rice, add frozen Green Peas.
Cover the pan with a tight lid and turn off the flame.
Allow Rice to cook in the steam, after 15-20mins open the lid and fluff-up the Rice using a fork.
Serve Vegetable Pulao warm with Paneer Butter Masala or Chilli Chicken or Masala Chicken Curry.
