Soya Chunks Curry

Ingredients needed to make Soya Chunks Curry:

2cup Soya Chunks

1 Onion, chopped

3-4tbsp Ginger Garlic, finely chopped or paste

Curry Leaves

2-3tbsp Coriander Powder

1tbsp Chilli Powder

1tsp Turmeric

2tbsp Garam Masala

1-2 Potato, diced

3-4 Tomato, diced

Chicken Stock or Water

Salt

Method:

How to prepare or cook Soya Chunks:

Boil Water in a pan and add Salt.

Taste the liquid and makesure there is enough Salt.

Carefully add dried Soya Chunks and boil for 2-3mins.

Turn off the flame and allow it to cool down.

Once it’s fully cooled squeeze out the Water and keep it a side.

Let’s start Cooking:

Heat some Oil in a pan and add Onion, Ginger, Garlic and Curry Leaves.

Saute until Onion is light golden brown in color.

Add Coriander Powder, Chilli Powder and Turmeric.

Saute for few mins or until raw smell of spices are gone.

Add Tomato and cook until Tomatoes are fully cooked through or mashed.

Carefully add diced Potato and pour Water or Chicken Stock.

Cover the pan with a lid and allow Potato to cook through.

Once Potato is fully cooked add Soya Chunks.

To have more gravy add Chicken Stock or Water.

Allow everything to boil.

Sprinkle Garam Masala.

Serve Soya Chunks Curry with Rice or Veg Pulao or Roti.
