Ingredients : To make Onion Pakoda
2 Onion , sliced julienne
Salt
Mix Onion & Salt together well .
Keep it aside for 20-25 min , so that all the water from the Onion comes out .
2-3 Green Chilies , chopped finely
1/2tsp Ginger , paste
1/2cup Gram Flour / Besan Flour
1/2cup Rice Flour
1tsp Chili Powder
Hing / Asafoetida , a pinch
Curry Leaves
Oil , for frying
Method :
Add all the ingredients into the Onion & mix everything well .
If needed add some more Gram Flour .
Don’t add any water into the batter .
Batter will be thick & it will bind all the ingredients together .
Heat Oil in a Kadai or in a pan .
Drop the mixture in batches & fry until it turns golden brown in color .
Pakoda’s will be very crispy .
Serve it hot with Tea or Coffee .
