Kerala Style Beef Stew / Beef Ishtu is one of the most popular or common dish served in most of the Christian houses in Kerala.
Stew is so common that for all special occasions like Birth, Wedding or someone is visiting or any kind of happy occasion, Stew will be always served.
I think each home or each region has their own variations in Stew. Some recipes have Turmeric, some add mix combination of Coconut Milk and Cow Milk. Some people add Cashew paste for more taste.
Stew is basically made with any kind of Protein cooked in Coconut Milk and some hard vegetables like Potato and Carrots.
