Ingredients needed to make Kerala Style Appam:
2 cups  Idly Rice ( Raw Rice )
1 cup grated Coconut
1/2 cup cooked Rice
2tbsp Yeast
Water
Sugar and Salt
Wash Rice and soak in some water for around half an hour.
Drain the water and transfer the Rice to a blender, add Coconut, cooked Rice, Yeast, Sugar and Salt.
Grind everything well.
While adding water be careful, don’t add too much of water . The batter should have the consistency of Idly batter ( it should be in a thicker consistency, cos after fermenting it will become little watery ).
Keep the batter for 2-3hrs or overnight to ferment .
Mix everything well and using nonstick Appam Pan make Appam.
Serve Kerala Style Appam with Chicken Stew or Beef Stew or Egg Roast or Egg Roast or Fish Molly.
