Challah Bread Pudding

 

In this recipe I used Challah Bread which I made earlier . Cut the bread into 1 1/2 inch slices , I used around 5 cups of Bread . For this recipe You need :

4 cups Warm Milk                                1 cup Chocolate Chip
6 Eggs                                                  1/2 cup Raisins
1 1/2 cup Sugar                                    1 tsp Vanilla Essence
1 stick melted Butter        

In a big bowl beat the Milk , Egg , Sugar , Butter & Vanilla Essence until smooth .

In a prepared baking pan line all the sliced bread , sprinkle the Chocolate Chip & Raisins on the top of the bread .

Pour the Milk mixture on the top of the bread & allow the bread to absorb the liquid , 5 – 10 min .

Wrap the baking dish with a aluminum foil & bake in a 325 degree Pre-heated Oven for about 50min .
Remove the foil & cook for 10 – 15 min longer until set in the middle & lightly browned on  top .

Remove from Oven & let it cool before serving .

If you like drizzle some Chocolate Ganache on the top .

I like my Bread pudding to be served when it is warm .
