Beef Liver Paalu Curry is one the most or must popular dish served in almost every Christian Weddings in Kerala.
It’s a perfect blend of Spices and Coconut Milk.

Ingredients

  • 2lbs Beef Liver

  • 1tbsp Black Pepper Powder

  • Salt

  • 1 Onion, finely chopped

  • 5tbsp Ginger, julienne

  • 4-5tbsp Garlic, chopped

  • 2tbsp Coriander Powder

  • Curry Leaves

  • 1tbsp Chilli Powder

  • 1tsp Turmeric

  • 1tbsp Garam Masala

  • 1tbsp Black Pepper Powder

  • 1cup Coconut Milk

  • 1-2tbsp Vinegar

Directions

  • 1st cook Liver in Salt, Black Pepper and Water.
  • When Liver is fully cooked, remove from Water and allow it to cool down completely.
  • Once fully cooled, slice Liver into fine strips.
  • Beef Liver Paalu Curry
  • Heat some Oil in a pan and saute Onion, Ginger, Garlic and Curry Leaves.
  • Saute until Onion turns light brown in color.
  • Add Coriander, Chilli Powder, Turmeric, Garam Masala and Black Pepper.
  • Saute until raw smell of spices are gone.
  • Carefully pour in Coconut Milk and sprinkle some Salt.
  • Allow everything to come rolling boil.
  • Carefully add sliced Liver and if needed add Water, according to the amount of gravy needed.
  • Pour in Vinegar and allow everything to boil together.
  • Serve Beef Liver Paalu Curry warm or hot with Rice or Bread.
