kcalBeef Liver Paalu Curry is one the most or must popular dish served in almost every Christian Weddings in Kerala.
It’s a perfect blend of Spices and Coconut Milk.
Ingredients
2lbs Beef Liver
1tbsp Black Pepper Powder
Salt
1 Onion, finely chopped
5tbsp Ginger, julienne
4-5tbsp Garlic, chopped
2tbsp Coriander Powder
Curry Leaves
1tbsp Chilli Powder
1tsp Turmeric
1tbsp Garam Masala
1tbsp Black Pepper Powder
1cup Coconut Milk
1-2tbsp Vinegar
Directions
- 1st cook Liver in Salt, Black Pepper and Water.
- When Liver is fully cooked, remove from Water and allow it to cool down completely.
- Once fully cooled, slice Liver into fine strips.
- Heat some Oil in a pan and saute Onion, Ginger, Garlic and Curry Leaves.
- Saute until Onion turns light brown in color.
- Add Coriander, Chilli Powder, Turmeric, Garam Masala and Black Pepper.
- Saute until raw smell of spices are gone.
- Carefully pour in Coconut Milk and sprinkle some Salt.
- Allow everything to come rolling boil.
- Carefully add sliced Liver and if needed add Water, according to the amount of gravy needed.
- Pour in Vinegar and allow everything to boil together.
- Serve Beef Liver Paalu Curry warm or hot with Rice or Bread.
