Directions
- Wash Rice and soak in some water for around half an hour.
- Drain the water and transfer the Rice to a blender, add Coconut, cooked Rice, Yeast, Sugar and Salt.
- Grind everything well.
- While adding water be careful, don’t add too much of water . The batter should have the consistency of Idly batter ( it should be in a thicker consistency, cos after fermenting it will become little watery ).
- Keep the batter for 2-3hrs or overnight to ferment .
- Mix everything well and using nonstick Appam Pan make Appam.
- Serve Kerala Style Appam with Chicken Stew or Beef Stew or Egg Roast or Egg Roast or Fish Molly.
