Ingredients

  • 2cup Soya Chunks

  • 1 Onion, chopped

  • 3-4tbsp Ginger Garlic, finely chopped or paste

  • Curry Leaves

  • 2-3tbsp Coriander Powder

  • 1tbsp Chilli Powder

  • 1tsp Turmeric

  • 2tbsp Garam Masala

  • 1-2 Potato, diced

  • 3-4 Tomato, diced

  • Chicken Stock or Water

  • Salt

Directions

  • How to prepare or cook Soya Chunks:
  • Boil Water in a pan and add Salt.
  • Taste the liquid and makesure there is enough Salt.
  • Carefully add dried Soya Chunks and boil for 2-3mins.
  • Turn off the flame and allow it to cool down.
  • Once it’s fully cooled squeeze out the Water and keep it a side.
  • Method
  • Heat some Oil in a pan and add Onion, Ginger, Garlic and Curry Leaves.
  • Saute until Onion is light golden brown in color.
  • Add Coriander Powder, Chilli Powder and Turmeric.
  • Saute for few mins or until raw smell of spices are gone.
  • Add Tomato and cook until Tomatoes are fully cooked through or mashed.
  • Carefully add diced Potato and pour Water or Chicken Stock.
  • Cover the pan with a lid and allow Potato to cook through.
  • Once Potato is fully cooked add Soya Chunks.
  • To have more gravy add Chicken Stock or Water.
  • Allow everything to boil.
  • Sprinkle Garam Masala.
  • Serve Soya Chunks Curry with Rice or Veg Pulao or Roti.
