- To make Beef Ball:
1lb, Minced Beef
1 medium size Onion, finely chopped
5tbsp Ginger and Garlic, finely chopped or paste
2-3 Green Chilli, finely chopped
1tbsp Garam Masala
Salt
- Ingredients needed to make Curry or Gravy:
1 1/2cup Coconut Milk, ( refer *notes )
5tbsp Coriander Powder
1tbsp Chilli Powder
1tsp Turmeric
1tbsp Garam Masala
2tbsp Garlic, finely chopped
2 Green Chillies
1-2tbsp Vinegar, ( refer *notes )
Salt
- Ingredients needed for Tempering:
2tbsp Coconut Oil
2-3 Shallots, thinly sliced
Curry Leaves
2tbsp Ginger, thinly sliced
Directions
- Method to make beef ball:
- Mix all the ingredients together.
- Using your hand mash everything well and make small or medium size balls.
- Keep a side.
- Method to make Curry or Gravy:
- Combine all the ingredients together and mix everything well.
- Allow Gravy to come a rolling boil.
- Let it boil for few minutes or until raw smell of spices are gone.
- Taste gavy and if needed adjust Salt and Vinegar.
- Carefully arrange Beef balls.
- Cover pan with a lid and allow Beef to cook through.
- When Beef is fully cooked add some thick Coconut Milk.
- Remove Kerala Style Beef Ball Curry from flame.
- Method for temparing:
- Heat some Oil in a pan and fry everything together.
- Fry until Shallots and Ginger turns golden brown in color.
- Carefully pour Thadka on top of Kerala Style Beef Ball Curry.
- Serve Kerala Style Beef Ball Curry hot with Rice or Bread.

Notes
- Coconut Milk: I usually use tinned Coconut Milk, if you are using the same, add some Water and thin it out.
If you are using fresh Coconut Milk, to make gravy use 2nd Milk and in the end add 1st Milk.
Vinegar: I use store bought sythentic vinegar, if you have good quality Vinegar add according to it.
