Ingredients

  • 3 Ridge Gourd , sliced into small pieces

  • 2/3cup cooked Masoor Dal

  • 1 Tomato , chopped

  • 1tsp Mustard Seeds

  • 1tsp Cumin Seeds

  • 2-3 Whole Red Chillies

  • 1 Onion , chopped

  • 4-5 Green Chillies

  • 1tsp grated Ginger

  • 2-3 cloves of Garlic

  • Curry Leaves

  • 1tsp Chilli Powder

  • 1tsp Turmeric Powder

  • Salt

Directions

  • Heat some Oil in a pan & crack Mustard , Cumin & Red Chillies .
  • Add finely chopped Onions , Ginger , Garlic , Green Chillies & Curry Leaves .
  • Saute until Onion turns transparent .
  • Add Chilli Powder ,Turmeric Powder & Salt .
  • Fry for few seconds .
  • Add sliced Ridge Gourd & Tomato .
  • Cover the pan with a lid & cook the Vegetable .
  • Add the Dal & mix everything well .
  • Serve it hot with Rice .
