Ingredients

  • 1 Whole Chicken , cut into 8 pieces , try to keep the skin on

  • Pepper Powder

  • Salt

  • Marinate the Chicken with Salt & Pepper .

  • Keep it inside the Fridge for about 1/2hr .

  • Olive Oil

  • 1 Onion , chopped

  • 4-5 Cloves of Garlic , minced

  • 1 Green Bell Pepper , diced

  • 3 Tomatoes , chopped

  • 1cup Frozen Green Peas

  • 2tbsp Paparika

  • 1tsp Turmeric Powder

  • 2cups Basmati Rice

  • 4cups Hot Water

  • Salt

Directions

  • Heat some Oil in a big pan & sear the both sides of Chicken until it turns golden brown in color .
  • Remove the Chicken from heat & set a side .
  • In the same pan add all the chopped Vegetables ( Onions , Garlic , Bell Pepper ) .
  • Saute the vegetables until its soft & transparent .
  • Add the Rice & stir for 2min & add the Tomatoes .
  • Stir everything nicely .
  • Pour the Hot water into the Rice & add Salt & Green Peas .
  • Carefully keep the Chicken Pieces into the Pan .
  • Allow the water to reduce down to Chicken & Rice level .
  • If needed carefully stir the Chicken & Rice mixture .)
  • Cover the pan with a tight lid & turn off the Gas .
  • After 20-25 min open the lid & fluff the Rice using a fork .
  • Serve it Hot .
