Ingredients

  • 2 Onion , sliced julienne

  • Salt

  • Mix Onion & Salt together well .

  • Keep it aside for 20-25 min , so that all the water from the Onion comes out .

  • 2-3 Green Chilies , chopped finely

  • 1/2tsp Ginger , paste

  • 1/2cup Gram Flour / Besan Flour

  • 1/2cup Rice Flour

  • 1tsp Chili Powder

  • Hing / Asafoetida , a pinch

  • Curry Leaves

  • Oil , for frying

Directions

  • Add all the ingredients into the Onion & mix everything well .
  • If needed add some more Gram Flour .
  • Don’t add any water into the batter .
  • Batter will be thick & it will bind all the ingredients together .
  • Heat Oil in a Kadai or in a pan .
  • Drop the mixture in batches & fry until it turns golden brown in color .
  • Pakoda’s will be very crispy .
  • Serve it hot with Tea or Coffee .
