- To make Cake
1 1/2 cup Flour
1tsp Baking Powder
1/4tsp Salt
1cup Sugar
1stick Butter , room temperature
4 Egg
1tsp Vanilla Essence
1/2cup Milk
- Strawberry Filling
1 1/2 quarts Fresh Strawberry , slice into medium size pieces
5tbsp Sugar
- Whipped Cream
2 cup Heavy Cream
2-3tbsp Sugar
Directions
- To make Cake
- Mix Flour , Baking Powder & Salt in a bowl & keep it aside .
- Pre-heat the Oven to 350 degree .
- In a big bowl beat Butter , Sugar & Vanilla Essence .
- Beat the Butter mixture until its creamy .
- Add 1 Egg at a time & beat .
- Alternatively add Flour mixture & Milk into the Butter mixture .
- Pour the Batter onto a preprepared pan .
- Bake for 30-35 min or until tooth pick inserted on the middle of the Cake comes out clean .
- Strawberry Filling
- Mix everything together & keep it inside the fridge until You are ready for assembling .
- Whipped Cream
- In a big bowl beat Cream & Sugar until its fluffy .
- Beat the Cream only when You are ready for assembling .
- Assembling the Strawberry Cake
- Slice a medium square piece from the Cake & layer the Cake into 2 pieces .
- Keep some Strawberry pieces & a dollop of Whipped Cream on top .
- Keep the 2nd layer of Cake & do the same .
- Serve the Cake immediately or keep it inside the fridge until You are ready to serve .
