Preserved Lemons / Uppilitta Naranga
Preserved Lemons / Uppilitta Naranga is one of the best method to save or preserve Lemon/Naranga for other seasons.
It’s simply Lemon slices and Salt.
Also add Spices or Peppers for more flavour.
Let it sit room temperature for about 1month or more or for years. Once Lemon is soft you can use it to make diffrent dishes.
Usually in my home we use Preserved Lemons / Uppilitta Naranga to make Chutney.
