Erachi Choru ( Mutton Pulao )


Wash & soak 2cups of Basmati Rice .

In a Pressure Cooker take 2pound of Mutton , 2 Tomatoes , 6 cloves of Garlic , 5tbsp grated Ginger , 4 Green Chillies ,1tsp Chilli Powder , 1tsp Turmeric Powder , 1tbsp black Pepper Powder , 1tbsp Garam Masala , Salt & 1 cup of Water . Mix everything well & cook it until Mutton is cooked through .
When Mutton is cooked add the Rice & Coriander leaves , mix well . Pour 1 cup of hot water & 2 tbsp Lemon Juice . When the water reduces down close the lid of the Pressure Cooker & put the weight . Turn off the gas . Allow the rice to cook . After 15min open the lid & fluff the rice with a fork . Serve it hot with Raita & Pickles .
This is a one pot meal .
In this recipe there is no OIL at all.
After cooking the mutton there will be 3cups of Gravy , that’s why add just 1 more cup of water to cook the rice .
