Chilli Idly ( Breakfast )

Ingredients needed to make Chilli Idly (Breakfast ):

15 Idly, sliced into 4 equal peices

1 Onion, finely chopped

3-4 Green Chillies

3tbsp Ginger Garlic

4 Tomato, diced

Curry Leaves

1tsp Mustard Seeds

1/4tsp Urad Dal 

3-4 Whole Dried Red Chillies

1tsp Turmeric

Salt

Coriander Leaves, for garnish

Chilli Idly ( Breakfast )

Method:

Heat some Oil in a pan and add Mustard Seeds.

Allow Mustard Seeds to pop.

Add Urad Dal and Dried Red Chillies.

When Urad Dal is slightly toasted add Onion, Green Chillies and Curry Leaves.

Saute until Onions turns light golden brown in color.

Add Ginger Garlic.

Saute until raw smell is gone.

Add diced Tomatoes, sprinkle some Salt and allow Tomatoes to cook down.

Once’s Tomatoes are full cooked and mashed, add Turmeric.

Saute for few mins or until raw smell of Turmeric is gone.

Carefully add sliced Idly, mix everything well.

Let Idly’s cook with Masala for few mins.

Sprinkle Coriander Leaves and serve Chilli Idly hot or warm.
