 Cauliflower Masala / Aloo Gobi

 

Ingredients needed to make Cauliflower Masala / Aloo Gobi:

1 medium size Cauliflower head, sliced into medium size peices

1 Onion, finely chopped

5tbsp Ginger Garlic, finely chopped or paste

2-3 Tomato, diced

1 tbsp Chilli Powder

1tsp Turmeric Powder

1tsp Garam Masala

Salt

1-2tbsp Ketchup, optional

1 Russet Potato, cubed ( optional )

Coriander Leaves, as garnish

Method:

Heat some Oil in a pan and saute Onion, Garlic and Ginger.

Saute until, Onion turns light golden brown in color.

Add Chilli Powder and Turmeric.

Saute for few mins or until raw smell of masala is gone.

Add  Tomato and Salt.

Mix everything well and allow Tomato to  cook down.

When Tomato is fully cooked and mashed carefully add Cauliflower and Potato.

Cover the pan with a tight lid and allow vegetables to cook.

Don’t forget to stir occassionally.

When vegetables are fully cooked add Ketchup and Garam Masala.

Mix everything well and when Cauliflower Masala / Aloo Gobi is cooled down a bit add Coriander Leaves.

Serve  Cauliflower Masala / Aloo Gobi with Roti/Chappathi.
